Patricia Louise Zippwald

Patricia Louise Zippwald-beloved wife, devoted mother, proud grandma, and loyal friend, 84, passed away on July 17, 2024, in Orange, California.

Patricia or Patty to most, was born on the day we wear green, March 17, 1940, to the late Hazel Harris and the late Mike Harris. Patty grew up in Costa Mesa California and attended Mater Dei High School where she was a cheerleader while in attendance.

In 1959, Patty met the love of her life, Paul Zippwald. They married on May 28, 1960 and were soulmates for 62 years. Their many blessings included their three children, five beloved grandchildren and a great granddaughter who is on the way.

Patty worked at Bank of America in 1954 where she met her husband with whom she built her life story. Patty was the soul of the family. She was adored by her husband who always put her first. She built a life that we all search for and hope to attain. She was proud of her family and enjoyed vacations to Estero Beach, Mexico, cruise ship vacations with dear friends, and celebrating family birthdays at home with her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her daughters Kim Zippwald, Tania Edquist (Kevin), Michael Zippwald (Jocelyn), grandchildren Cristopher Lazarus, Danielle Lazarus, Austin Lazarus, Isabella Zippwald, Kyle Edquist (Adrianna) and a great granddaughter on the way. She is survived by her sister Rosemary Anderson, She is preceded in death by parents, Hazel and Mike Harris.
