Spiros Vagenas

January 2, 1966 — November 23, 2024

Glendora

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Spiros Vagenas a beloved father, husband, son, and friend, who left this world on November 23rd, 2024. Spiros was a man of extraordinary kindness, laughter, and light. His presence illuminated every room he entered, and his warmth touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A devoted family man, he cherished his loved ones above all else. His love for his family was boundless, and his dedication as a father and husband was a testament to the strength of his character. Spiros also had a deep affection for animals, dedicating his free time to caring for and protecting them. His compassion knew no bounds, extending to every living being in his path.

He had a contagious sense of humor that could lift anyone’s spirits. His ability to make people laugh, even in the hardest moments, was a gift that will be missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his comforting presence, and the joy he brought to all who crossed his path. To be in his company was to feel an unmatched sense of comfort and happiness, a gift he shared generously with the world.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find solace in the countless memories of his light that will never fade.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Vagenas; his daughter, Elizabeth Garcia (Andrew); his sons, Vasilios Vagenas (Sarah) and Christopher Vagenas; and his brother, John Vagenas (Georgia).

He was preceded in death by his brother, Peter Vagenas, and his mother, Nikolitsa Vagenas.

In lieu of flowers, Spiros family requests that donations be made to his church, Saint Anthony’s Greek Orthodox 778 S.
